FreeLee Life Services’ mission is to strengthen family and community systems, prevent crises and help individuals develop resilience to learn, live, love and laugh freely through charity, advocacy and evidenced-based family life education. Our vision is helping individuals and families elevate higher and recognize their power to persevere, grow, and sustain life quality.

Our goal to accomplish our mission is continuous research, use of the Family Life Education Model which purpose is to help individuals and families, “increase knowledge and develop skills to build on their strengths to function at optimal levels,” use of family theories, and preventive interventions. Individuals and families are provided educational resources that build skills and knowledge on awareness, acceptance, unity, and stability. Services will be delivered in a variety of settings that include community-based, school-based, and virtual-based.

FreeLee Life Services continues charity and advocacy efforts to help individuals and families overcome barriers, prevent crises, and maintain family cohesion. Charity efforts include, but are not limited to, funding towards family building, affordable housing, education, other financial support, holiday toy and meal drives, and safe space events.
​Focus is placed on under-resourced and underrepresented populations that include the BIPOC community, women, LGBTQ+ individuals. 

FreeLee Life Services for Individuals & Families, Inc.​ was formed March 17, 2016 when Founder Dr. Keonna Freeman was motivated to give back, by improving communities throughout her native state of DE. 

 "From my own personal experiences as a black woman, a once single mother, and a woman of the LGBTQI+ community, remaining focused while overcoming stereotypes and microaggressions, required me to work harder. There was criticism in the past when I became a teenage mother and when I "came out" that sometimes became discouraging. However, I remained steadfast. I never lost sight of love and light. FreeLee Life Services was formed to help others with shared experiences. So, they don’t feel captive while trying to reach goals or simply live life. They should be able to do so freely. My desire is for individuals and families, throughout Delaware communities, to learn without limits, live worry free, love free of judgement, and laugh, because it’s good for the soul.  [Freely] in the organization’s name was revised to “FreeLee,” to reflect my heritage (Freeman & Lee lineage).
